Synopsis: High pressure will settle in and last until at least early next week. Dry and tranquil conditions are expected for the entire forecast period.
Short Term: Sub-freeezing temperatures are expected over night tonight, especially in the upper elevations of the western zones. High pressure will move in and provide an excellent spring day on Thursday and Friday with seasonable temperatures.
Long Term: Due to an approaching upper level ridge, development of a southwest flow, and the lingering of a high pressure system, warm and dry conditions are expected for the weekend. A ridge will drop into the region late sunday, passing a cold front through. This will be the next chance at precipitation and a cool down.
