WED NIGHT

SYNOPSIS: Exiting upper level high tonight will give way to a wave of low pressure. This will set up an elongated area of precipitation tomorrow. A small high pressure system will takes its place on friday bringing tranquil conditions. After some showers pass through this weekend, next week's weather will be dictated by a large upper level ridge. 
 
SHORT TERM: Clouds will increase overnight due to an approaching low pressure system that will move to our south overnight. Widespread showers can be expected for most of the day on Thursday. This system will depart overnight Thursday and amplify over the atlantic ocean. However, the commonwealth will see clearing skies and the return of tranquil condtions on Friday, due to the presence of a weak surface high pressure system. Temperatures on Friday will be much below normal and it will feel even cooler with breezy conditions.
 
LONG TERM: Another storm system will pass to our south this weekend, bringin showers late on saturday. A large upper level ridge will approach the region next week. This will provide an extended period of warming temperatures and tranquil conditions through at least the middle of the work week.
