Short term
A cold front has passed through Pennsylvania. Associated with it has been a line of light rain and showers following closely behind. This will pass completely through the state by tonight. Behind the front an upper level trough will bring colder temperatures and breezy conditions. This could spawn some thank affect snow or rain showers depending on temperatures in the western part of the state clouds clear out Saturday as we get a surge of dry air at the mid-levels. We get grazed to the south by a surface high, the bearer of clear skies.
Long term
Sunday has much the same pattern as Saturday and makes for a similar weather day. On Monday the chance of rain creeps into the western portion of the state. The low pressure which will trigger this rain appears well to north in central Canada. This will probably mean a lack of moisture and forcing for our area. There very well may not be much precipitation associated with this next system.
