Wednesday Night

Synopsis: High pressure currently over the region will provide tranquil weather for tomorrow. A frontal passage tomorrow night will usher in cooler temperatures for Friday, but the region should remain dry. Another dome of high pressure will move in for the weekend, bringing peaceful, dry. weather with a moderation in temperatures.

Short Term:  Upper level ridge and associated surface high pressure currently over the area will provide pleasant weather into the first half of Thursday. Later on Thursday a cold front will move through due to a two pieces of energy sliding through the area. A weak one will move to our north and bring the weak cold front through, but the stronger system will move well to our south. Dry conditions are expected with the passage of these storms as they should stay far away from the region. As a result though, temperatures will cool off rapidly for Friday.

Long Term: In the wake of the southern system, a dome of high pressure will engulf the eastern portion of the nation. Dry and sunny conditions will prevail for this weekend, with temperatures warming to around, or even above normal.
