Tuesday Night Technical Disco

The stubborn area of low pressure that has given us unsettled weather lately is finally moving off the New England Coast into the Atlantic Ocean. An area of high pressure will move in behind the system bringing northerly winds to the Commonwealth over the next few days allowing for more cold air advection.  Temperatures across the state will remain below average through the end of the week with a few areas possibly reaching 32 Wednesday night. The area of high pressure will begin to move to our east as we move later into the week bringing more of a southerly flow and some warm air advection. This will allow for temperatures to rebound nicely across the Commonwealth this weekend with some areas possibly reaching 80 degrees on Sunday.
