A weak cold front will pass through the region tonight bringing scattered showers and thunderstorms. Stronger storms may impact the southern most portions of the state. A stronger cold front will move through tomorrow morning and early afternoon bringing rain showers. The majority of rain activity will be over by tomorrow evening. Persisting clouds and a passing cold front will make it tough for conditions to warm up. After the cold front passes expect temperatures to fall relatively dramatically. Temperatures should bottom out in the mid to upper 30s across the northern and central parts of the state.
High pressure will build over the region Friday and into the weekend. Although there will be relatively cool conditions for this weekend, there will be a gradual warm-up everday after Friday. Along with cool conditions, sunny skies will be prevalent into early next week.
