…Synopsis…
While there will be a window of sunny weather on Thursday, that period of high pressure will be sandwiched by rain and a few thunderstorms possibly. Later today, a warm front will move northward through the Commonwealth bringing more rain. The low pressure continues to approach the region from the West on Wednesday, when a cold front will push through the region. On Thursday, we will see cooler temperatures, but finally a spot of sun. Another warm front approaches the region sometime on Friday, bringing more rain. This system should affect the region through Saturday.
…Short term…
With a warm front to the south, we should see showers throughout the day. The warm front should move through the region tonight. While we are in the warm sector, we will see the warmest temperatures of the week. As the cold front moves through, later on Wednesday, we will see severe weather across the region.
…Long Term…
High pressure will build into the region on Thursday, with cooler temperatures compared to Wednesday. The sunny skies will not last long as another storm system approaches the region on Friday. A warm front will bring rain to the region on Friday. As the storm moves through the region from the West, we will likely see rain throughout the weekend.
