Tuesday Morning Technical Discussion

Synopsis: A high pressure system will affect the region through Friday. As the high moves off the coast, warm air advection will bring our temperatures up. While temperatures will remain cool today, Wednesday through Friday should see much warmer temperatures. Pennsylvania could even see temperatures in the 60's on Friday. A cold front will pass through the state on Friday, bringing a chance of rain Thursday night through Friday.

Short-term:  As the high pressure system moves off the coast, a south westerly flow will set up, bringing into the region, much warmer temperatures than average. Expect a mix of sun and clouds today through Thursday.

Long-term:  A cold front will pass through the region on Friday. As of now, it seems as though everywhere but the Southeastern part of the state will see some precipitation from this frontal passage. Colder temperatures will return to the region on Saturday.
