10/10 Technical Discussion
Synopsis:
The nice weather will continue for another day with plentiful sunshine across the Commonwealth. A few weak disturbances will make their way over the area throughout the week. These will only bring scattered showers to the region until Thursday. The disturbance that will move in on Thursday should produce more widespread showers throughout the day.
Short-term:
A strong high pressure system will remain over us throughout the day today. Highs could reach into the low 70's across the entire state. The high pressure will move off of the coast Monday. This will allow small disturbances to begin to enter the area on Monday. These should only produce scattered showers with the remainder of the day being partly cloudy.
Long-term:
Another small disturbance will make its way across the Commonwealth on Tuesday producing scattered showers throughout the day. For Wednesday all models are saying that there will be clearing from west to east and everyone will see sunny skies throughout the day. Another larger disturbance will enter the area for Thursday bringing with it a greater chance of showers for the entire state. Temperatures should be in the low 60's throughout the week with lows in the low 40's.
