Synopsis:
A Cold front is to the NW of the Commonwealth as of 8:30am. The cold front will push through the region bringing clouds with it for the overnight hours. Monday Night and Thursday look like they are the pick six of the week with the chance of showers during both those days as we are affected by two storms, one from the south and one from the north. Sunny conditions return on Friday.
Short-term:
Sunny conditions will persist during the day, but both the GFS and NAM show that clouds will roll in along with the for mention cold front. But they will not last long, and will be out of the region by the time we go to school on Monday. Monday clouds will increase across the Commonwealth as a streak of showers move parallel to I 76. The NAM in our opinion has a better solution of showers then the GFS, as the GFS just creates the showers over us. These showers will only last during the overnight on Monday.
Long-term:
Sunshine will return on Tuesday and will persist through into Wednesday under a big trough that moved in from Monday Night showers. Wednesday night clouds will increase as a cold front from Canada looks to push its way south. Showers will move through the Commonwealth from North to South Thursday morning and early afternoon.
