Synopsis...
As the low over New England moves northeastward and out to sea, the commonwealth will be in for some beautiful fall weather with mostly sunny skies and seasonal temperatures.
Short Term...
The upper-level low that gave us quite a few days of rainy and cool weather is now moving northeastward through New England and is currently sitting at the northern tip of Maine. As the low pulls out, a persistent westerly flow, dry air mass, and a high pressure system parked to the southwest of Pennsylvania will bring seasonal weather to the area for the next 3-4 days. Not much else to talk about really as persistence forecasting will be in play the next few days with slightly moderating temps throughout the weekend.
Long Term...
GFS tries to break down the high pressure ridge over the area and swing a low through the Great Lakes region that may bring a chance of showers to western zones Monday evening - Tuesday time frame but later shifts can work the details out on that feature, but it's something to look for as far as any interesting weather in the 5-day period.
